The 2026 season: So far, we have these events planned:

  • Scrimmage - February 28, 10 am to 4 am, Week 0, The Woodlands College Park High School, TX, USA
  • Pre-Inspection Event - March 1, 1 pm to 6 pm, Robert Turner High School, TX, USA
  • FIT District McAllen Event - March 12 to March 14, Week 2, McAllen Convention Center in McAllen, TX, USA
  • FIT District Space City @ Friendswood Event #2 - April 2 to April 4, Week 5, Clear Brook High School in Friendswood, TX, USA

About

Team 5829, the Awtybots, is the Awty International School's FIRST Robotics Competition team. We are made up by 40 students from AIS (grades 9-12). Our rookie year was in 2016, and ever since we've been promoting robotics, STEM, inclusivity, and all that goes into making a successful team!
